Health is necessary for a good life. These days various amendments are made in the medical care system. Due to which individuals live longer and their life expectancy is increasing as well. This essay believes that the disadvantage of this notion outweigh the advantages. In the upcoming paragraphs, firstly this essay is going to discuss about the demerits that people may face like lack of resources and burden on government. Secondly, this essay will discuss about the merits such as people live a happy and care free life.
Body Paragraph 1:
Looking more precisely at the disadvantages that may be faced by individuals due to upgraded health care. First of all, there can be scarcity of food resources as the production of food is not optimal. Moreover, individuals live longer life due to which the death rate will also decrease. Owing to this, the rate of population especially the older ones is rising and the proportion of workforce is declining. Ultimately, it leads to the problem of unemployment which youngsters faces. As well as it may raise the burden on governments. As they have to give pensions and other medical allowance to all the older citizens. Because of which the financial resources of the government will be spent on taking care of older people instead of using them towards the development of the undeveloped sectors of the country. This type of situation may hinder and sometimes halt the growth rate of a nation and slow down the economy. To exemplify, an article was published in The Tribune newspaper in 2021, which stated that a high proportion of older individuals get medical allowances and other living allowances on monthly basis which puts great burden on the governments.

Glancing at the merit of this notion, people will live happy and care free life. As they can work for the development of their nation for a longer time period. Also, older individuals spent a major part of their life at work so they can spend more precious time with their family members in their later age. Thus, they may provide valuable knowledge to their children. They can enlighten their younger generation about work or can teach their grandchildren about the cultural, ethical and moral values and keep them rooted with their traditions.
