Introductory Statement:
Childhood stage is the best age for learning something new and interesting. Many people believe that children ought to get motivation to have a sense of competition in them. While others assert that children should have an essence of co-operation in spite of competing with their mates. In the upcoming paragraphs, firstly this essay will discuss that sense of competition would be more efficient and effective means for children to become successful in future. Secondly this essay is going to discuss that cooperation helps a child to learn various interpersonal skills like team work and co-ordination.
Body Paragraph 1:
Talking about the first perspective, some sections of society assert that it is more beneficial for children to have a sense of competition. First of all, a healthy competition always motivate a child to do more hardwork. Which can ultimately lead to their success and it also encourages a child do their best. Moreover, motivating a child for competition make them a useful adult as they become more focused to achieve their desired goals. Moreover, other children also take inspiration from them, they also start taking things seriously. To exemplify, a survey was conducted by American Department of Education in 2020 which stated that 85% children get success in their life if they have a spirit of competition.

Talking about second perspective, it is a true fact that if a child is taught to co-operate with their fellows then they become a successful adult. A child can learn various interpersonal skills from their mates when they do work in a team. They learn the skill of co-ordination which will have many positive effects on their personal life. As well as this ability will be useful in their professional life in their upcoming future. Moreover, they become a responsible and balanced person in their life. Additionally, competition can only bring success to a single child. But a sense of cooperation can bring group of children ahead. Which ultimately leads to overall development of the country. For instance, an article was published in The Tribune newspaper in 2021 which revealed that majority of children who are encouraged to co-operate are more successful in their life as compared to other individuals.

In conclusion, competition and co-operation both are very important for children to achieve success in their life. As competition motivates an individual to do more hard work however, co-operation helps a child to become a responsible person. In my opinion, it is very essential to inculcate a sense of co-operation in children as it make a section of society responsible and children can acquire new skills as well as can achieve success.
