The representative pie charts provide the information about the proportions of water usage for three purposes, which includes, Industrial use, Agricultural and Domestic use. This information is for six different region of earth. They are named as, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia.
A glance is enough to make it clear that a huge chunk of water percentage is used for agricultural purpose in major four countries except North America and Europe. Moreover, in that countries, the water consumption is higher for industrial use.
Coming to details, In North America, the water consumption for industrial and agricultural purpose is 48% and 39%, respectively. Whereas, people have been using only 13% water for domestic purpose. Moreover, around 71% of water is used by agricultural fields in South America. In Europe, more than half percentage of water is consumed by industrial areas.
As per the data, African has been using 84% of water proportion in agricultural activities. The trend is followed by Central and South East Asia, where they consume 88% and 81% of water, respectively. Additionally, in these region, negligible amount of water is used for industrial and domestic areas.
