Introductory Statement:
21st Century is known as century of modern technology. Today technology is widely being used of monitor what individuals are doing through tracking from cellphone and security cameras. In many cases helpful are unaware about this. This essay support that advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages. This essay firstly discuss about the pros of cellphone tracking and security cameras. Secondly it will discuss their cons.
Body Paragraph 1:
Modern problems need modern solutions. Thus, cellphones are used for tracking and controlling security cameras. Many shopkeepers nowadays had installed security cameras in their shops that can be easily controlled through phone. The user does not require computers to monitor what people are doing. The size of the cameras is so small that people are unaware about this. The modern device can also be used as evidence in court in the case of theft. Security cameras record scene without making any noise or movement. Due to this crime rate are decreasing day by day. For example, a survey was conducted by Delhi University in 2020 which stated that the use of security cameras had decreased the crime rate of theft from 35% to 45%.
Body Paragraph 2:
If technology has positive effect, it also brings negative effect with it. With the use of cellphones of tracking and controlling security camera, people are being monitor without being conscious about it. As these cameras are very small in size, they do not get noticed closely. Criminals use this device to record people and then blackmail them for money. The use of security cameras are increasing in crime then in its actual use. The conversation of individuals can also be used to track their location through cellphone. For example, a survey was conducted by crime branch of India in 2020 which stated that the use of modern technology had been used in crime up to 20% then its original use.
Conclusion:
In the end it is concluded that increasing use of technology helps two control crime rate if it is used correctly. There is a great danger in misusing of technology nowadays. But still the advantages of development in the technology outweigh its disadvantages.
