Introductory Statement:
Universities play a vital role for providing education to the students. A few people say that knowledge and practical skills should be provided by the universities to students. However, others believe that university should give knowledge only related to learning without the practical skills. This essay totally agrees with that a student should we provided with both practical skills as well as knowledge. In the upcoming paragraphs, firstly this essay will discuss practical syllabuses such as accounting, computer, IT, graphics etc should be included in the course subject. Secondly, universities should organize workshops related to different subjects.
Body Paragraph 1:
Firstly, the important function of the universities that they should provide students with the knowledge and practical skills as well which is very beneficial for the student’s future. Universities should include the practical syllabuses related to different subjects like accounting, mathematics computer, art and graphics. So, subjects will learn all the practical skills and knowledge related to different aspects throughout their course. Students will be able to understand, what type of tasks and duties they have to perform in their future workplace. For example a survey was conducted by ‘Delhi University ‘in 2018, according to which it was found that 90% of students believed as practical skills and knowledge both were the important aspect for students’ career.
Body Paragraph 2:
Secondly, it is very significant that universities should organize different kinds of workplace related to different subjects. Such as accounts, mathematics, computer and graphics for the betterment of students. Universities should give emphasis to provide practical knowledge as well as learning the course subject with the help of workshops. Students will be able to learn, how tasks and duties are performed in work place. Moreover, students will easily do any kind of work if they have some knowledge and practical understanding of work. For example, an article was published in ‘The Tribune Newspaper’ in 2019 according to which it was found that Chandigarh university took and initiative to provide practical knowledge through the workshops to all students.

In conclusion, this essay tends to follow that university plays an important role in students life to make their future bright. Moreover, practical skills and knowledge both are crucial for a student to work in company. In my opinion, the true function of a university should be to provide graduates with the practical skills and knowledge as well. Which is very beneficial for students career in future.
