Introductory Statement:
Ageing Population is increasing day by day globally. Few individuals believe that older population creates issues for the governments while others admit that there are merits as well if the society has more percentage of older people. This essay intends to profess that it has more disadvantages as compared to the advantages. Formally mentioning the issues of increasing burden of health care and medicine in the first paragraph and lately mentioning the problem of decreasing working population in the second paragraph, thus hindering the pace of development.
Body Paragraph 1:
Talking about the major issue, ageing population needs more care as compared to the others. Governments are supposed to provide proper medical and health care systems for curing the problems of the old people. Hence, a large amount of their resources get used in maintaining hospitals and providing health facilities. These otherwise would have been used for other development purposes of the country. Mentioning another problem, increase in the ageing population is inversely proportionate to the decrease in the working population. This trend has seriously impacted the pace of development in the countries as industries and other sectors are not able get employable people for the jobs and ultimately, they are forced to pressure existing workers. To exemplify, 90 percent of the global governments even admit that population of elderly people creates more issues which are bound to be taken care.
