Introductory Statement:
Childhood is the best stage of a person’s life. Few Children dedicate most of their time on their cell phones every day. This essay intends to believe that this is due to the over burdened schedules of parents and they get rid off their children by giving them mobiles. Further, it also admits that it’s a negative development because it weakens the relationship between the parents and their children.
Body Paragraph 1:
Talking about the main reason, modern society has forced both the parents to work and that to in a very hectic life. Since they are left with no time to care for their children, they find it easy to make their infants busy with mobile phones while they are on their jobs. Thus, children utilize their most of the valuable and precious time while scrolling on the smartphones and that too without surveillance. As per UNITED NATION REPORT 2023, it found that 90 percent of the individuals admit that the children are mostly on smart phones because their parents are not free for them due to over burdened jobs.
Body Paragraph 2:
The most crucial negative development that happens due to the upper reason is that it actually weakens the relationship between the parents and their children. As they do not find proper time to interact with each other, this hinders the overall development of the children and even deteriorates the stability of a family. Moreover, it even hammers the moral and ethical values among the children as parents are not able to inculcate them properly. To exemplify, the finds of an article written by Dr. Partha can be quoted who wrote that overuse of smartphones by children erodes the relationship between them and their parents which is very bad for the overall society as well.
Conclusion:
To conclude, since childhood is the noblest part of our lives, devoting most of the time on smartphones is a negative development. Admittedly, it is due to lack of time at the level of parenting, but the consequences of it destructs the relationships between the family members which have been very importance since the dawn of mankind.
