To start with, language is a vast subject. One needs to give huge amount of time to learn a non-native language. It requires a lot of practice to be perfect in a language. Students who are in primary schools have a developing mind. They can give more time to a language as compared to the students in secondary school. Younger children can grasp the grammatical rules of the language more accurately. For example, an article was published in the ‘The Hindustan Times’ newspaper in 2020, according to which students who started learning a foreign in primary school have good hold on the language than the students who started learning in secondary school.

Moreover, when the students reach in secondary school, their mind is not as efficient to learn a new language. Many students even struggle with remembering the alphabets of new language.
