However, others say that it is more crucial to give all their time and focus to studying for a qualification. In the following paragraphs, firstly this essay is going to discuss that by studying other subjects students can develop intellectual skills and improve their overall personality. Secondly, this essay will discuss that focusing on qualification will help them to achieve success in their desirable fields.

To begin with, it is very beneficial for students to study other subjects along with their main subjects. Firstly, many subjects help to develop intellectual and cognitive skills. When individuals show interest in other subjects, then it ultimately leads to improve their overall personality. Moreover, they can know more about the various aspects of other fields also. They can gain extra information apart from their subjects. Sometime, people will also be able to enhance their mental ability. Hence, they will be able to live out of the box. Secondly, if students are studying other subjects related to their interest, then it might be helpful for them get rid of their stress too. For example, an article was published in ‘The Tribune’ in 2020 which stated that 54% of students agreed that studying other subjects along with their main subjects helped them to release their stress.
