The elaborative chart provide the information about various stages of different post school educations in the Australia. Additionally, the charts describes the percentages of males and females who selected these often in 1999.
A glance is enough to make it clear that majority of males had been started their tertiary education with skilled vocational diploma. On the other hand, most of the female had studied in undergraduate diploma.
Coming to details, in 1999, skilled vocational diploma consisted 10% females and 90%of male students. Furthermore, approximately 70% women had completed their education in undergraduate diploma, as compared to 36-37% of men. As per the data, in Bachelor’s degree, the numbers of male and female students were more than 40%.
A part from these statics, the male percentage was 70% in postgraduate diploma. But only 30% of females had studied in B.tech. As far as Master’s degree qualification was concerned, the proportion for both men and women were 60% and 40%, respectively.
