Introduction:
A person’s appearance plays a very important role in modern era. Few individuals believe that it is possible to determine a lot about anyone’s culture and character from their preferences of clothes. This essay totally disagrees with it. Firstly, it shall elaborate the essence of globalization as it has diluted the cultural outfits and difficult to determine. Secondly, it shall state the role of person’s own interest in selecting and wearing the cloths of their choices.
Body paragraph One:
Talking about the first aspect, since globalization has created a single platform where all the forces get intermix, this has hindered the uniqueness of cultural clothes. Thus, it becomes literally impossible to determine a person’s culture from his outer look. Moreover, companies have also started standardization of their clothes which are readily available across the globe. This leaves the customers with no choice to buy those clothes only as they are available everywhere. To exemplify, the 2023 report of HRD Ministry India has also stated that globalization has made it difficult to quest for a person’s culture from his clothes.
Body paragraph Two:
Another aspect for the same is that everyone has his/her own mindset and preferences. Since people have got a lot of choices of clothes to wear, it has become very hard to judge a person’s culture or character. Easy availability of outfits and at affordable prices have made every person experimental about their looks. Ultimately, impossible to determine a person’s background or culture. To make it clearer, views of famous writer Partha Chattergee can be quoted here where he stated that outfits do not determine a person’s character in 21st century.

To conclude, there has been a time when a person’s clothes would tell about culture and background, it has all ended due to globalization and standardization as it has made people more experimental about their looks.
